Q: What are the requirements for residency at Horizon Village?
A: You must be
(1) at least 55 years of age or have a spouse at least 55 years of age,
(2) in good physical and mental health, and
(3) financially able to meet the terms of the Residence Agreement.
You may have a care giver younger than 55 years of age stay with you with our approval.
Q: Is there any buy-in fee?
A: No. Residency is on a month-to-month basis. The only fees are the first month's rent and a security deposit.
Q: Is there a refund of fees at anytime?
A: Yes. Since rental is on a month to month basis you have the flexibility to move at any time. The only fees retained are those for the normal cleaning and repairs at time of departure. See the Residence Agreement for details.
Q: What are the policies pertaining to pets?
A: We love pets at Horizon Village. We do have certain criteria for pets, though. Dogs (except really large dogs), cats, and birds are typical. Other restrictions can apply so it's best to check with the office.
Q: Do you provide transportation?
A: Horizon Village provides needs based transportation to local destinations. This is included in your monthly fee. Other transportation needs can be arranged. Please contact the manager.
