Sandy with Horizon Village's Owners: Mike, Shirley, and Dan

When we think of the term "village", we often think of a small cluster of homes where the residents live and work together sharing a community and a common bond.  This term truly describes Horizon Village. Here, we enjoy a common bond of lifestyle, independence, community and purpose. Our village is a wonderful mixture of people from divergent backgrounds with a common desire to enjoy the sunset years to the fullest.

The focus at Horizon Village is to provide a safe environment where you can come and enjoy the independence of living at home in the same manner that you have enjoyed all your life.  What you'll find here that you can't readily get in your family home are the support services and the supportive community of friends. Here, we provide all the services and support necessary to enable you to continue to live at home. Our residents are like you: independent, like minded people who are not ready for senior apartment living. At Horizon Village, you can find relief in allowing us to remove the burden of home maintenance, landscaping, and utilities.

Living at Horizon Village, you'll soon discover that we're all friends: residents, staff, and owners alike. We enjoy each other, and we enjoy life and activities together. Dan and Shirley live less than a mile away, and are in the office most days. Mike lives with his family in California, but visits and works in our village often. On any given day, you'll usually find one or more owners on site. We truly are a local, family run business.

Community is what sets us apart from most other retirement living communities. You'll find the spirit of a supportive community from the office to our resident's council, and our activities. In the office, we love our resident volunteers and are always eager for office assistance from our residents. Our resident's council is a special forum for residents to meet with management and owners to provide feedback, voice suggestions and concerns, and establish policies and programs. In our activities, we enjoy the camaraderie of our residents along with owners and staff as well.

We would be delighted to show you our little village. Even if you're just curious or have a distant future need, please stop by.  Sandy loves to chat and meet new people and you can be assured that she'll never pressure you to make a choice you don't want to make.
